December 31st 2020 (new years eve)

So it’s the new year. Yay. Nothing really changes, really its a human made construct (obv) but I cant help but notice a buzz in the air, even if its betewen my mom dad and I. or maybe its just me. Its probably just me. They didn’t even mind, they were praying when the countdown went and they completely miseed it lol. So it is just me. Funny how a belief in something (like measureing time by years) can have such an effect on your perception of reality and things. Stuff’s all in your head, at the end of the day. And if you can control your beliefs and your th oughts. well then you’re golden.

Anyways, had a half day of work today. This year I gotta go 0 to 11 real quick. Keep goals in check, and do everything for those goals. Everything else is secondary, no need to please anyone.

Funny thought of mine is to run 10 hours of productivity on Fri / Sat / Sun to have a full 30 hour “productivity blitz” on the weekend. But do I really, really need 10 hours a day? I mean, there’s only so many hours i’m actually “productive” right? Or i mean, even if i’m productive all the way through, if I allot so much time to this, 10 hours a day, does that “de value” the time, since I have so much of it? What i mean is, would I really be focused and productive during those times, because I know i have so much?

It’s kinda like how I’m productive when I’m on the wire for time. School, cram time, work, deadlines, I’m always faster.

So even though 10 hours sounds good, let’s try to do 5 really, really, good hours of work tomorrow.

How I split it up is another story. 5 hours I can definitely do in one blitz, then I can maybe sneak in another 3 somewhere for a full 8? So in the weekend, I have 24 hours?! hehehe, sounds like fun. Gotta track it though.

oh went to Canada Computers today to pick up a laptop for dad too. waiting on the headphones for mom. Maybe I’ll get her the tablet too, but then I’m dropping like 1.5Gs! save it for her for her birthday? we’ll see.

scout, plan, execute, learn & repeat.
