Extensions can be added at Account, Campaign, Ad Group level. Lower hierarchies trump higher ones.
For each ads, you pretty much always want to have these extensions:
- Call
- Sitelinks – links to most important pages. fun fact, you can show the page your advertising.
- Callouts – Use these to highlight selling points of your ads.
- Structured Snippets – predefined groups – header and value based.
- Location Extensions – if you have a brick and motor and want to show up on Google Maps -> This brings in the “Google Hosted – Local Ad Conversions” within the conversion tables.
Automated Extensions
Google can even fill in the gaps and set up extensions for you and create them automatically
SELLER RATING extensions are the only automatic extensions. Google looks for Google reviews / Yotpo / Trustpilot etc. and shows this on the seller ratings
