There are Different Negative Keywords Match Types

Negative Broad Keywords – Excludes most potential negative search terms -> Anytime keyword shows up, don’t show the ad.
Remember # of words count -> it’s the meaning of the word. i.e. -Faux Leather -> These two words have to be in the search term.

Negative Phrase Match – Exclude ads with phrase matched keywords deemed as negative. Order matters here.

Negative Exact Match – Exclude exact search terms.

Negative Keywords can be added AG and campaign level, can also create negative keyword lists to apply to multiple campaigns.

Most successful campaigns have at least a 1:1 match of negative keywords to positive keywords
